The Zanzibar Jozani Forest tour is a three-hour guided tour through the Jozani natural forest, which is the only natural forest on Zanzibar Island. The forest is located in the central-eastern region of Zanzibar Island, about a 20-minute drive from Stone Town. It contains about 100 tree species from a total of 43 families. It encompasses the entire groundwater forest, coral rag forest, and salt marsh area. A wide variety of wildlife lives in and around the forest, including the endangered red colobus monkey and the extremely rare Ader’s duiker.

The Jozani forest also accommodates a large mangrove swamp and a tract of natural forest that is home to a few unique species including the Sykes monkey, bush babies, Ader's duiker (which are found only in Jozani and Sokoke Forest along the Kenya's coast), hyraxes, over fifty species of butterflies and forty species of birds. The smaller trees and shrubs make several subcanopies under the highest forest canopy.
